150mm Square Filter System
The NiSi 150mm Slot-in Filter System is designed to provide photographers unparalleled control over their images through a comprehensive range of holders and filters. This system is compatible with a wide array of lenses, designed specifically for each lens, making it a versatile choice for amateur and professional photographers.
150mm Filter Holders
- NiSi S6 Holder: An advanced filter holder with up to three 150mm filters and a circular polariser you can rotate independently. It features a streamlined design for easy insertion and removal of filters, ensuring quick adjustments during shooting.
- Each holder is made to measure: The NiSi S6 is specific for each lens. These lenses don’t have frontal threads, so they require a specifically designed holder.
- Classic 150mm Holders: A classic and reliable holder that supports using 2 or 3 filters simultaneously, depending on the lens used. These holders don’t include the circular polariser wheel and, if needed, support a 150x150mm square polariser.
NiSi S6 150mm Square Filter Holder
- Made of coated aviation grade aluminium
- It is compatible with lenses without a front thread, like 12-24mm or 14-24mm wide-angle lenses, and with threaded lenses with 105mm and 95mm filter threads.
- Simultaneously mount two filters along with a polariser
- No vignetting with the selected wide angle lens, made to fit properly the fixed lens hood
- Compatible with 150mm wide and 2mm thick filters
150x150mm Neutral Density (ND) Filters
NiSi’s ND filters are crafted to reduce the amount of light entering the lens without affecting color balance. This enables longer exposure times and greater creative control in various lighting conditions. The filters are made from high-quality optical glass with nano-coating to minimise reflections and ensure accurate color reproduction.
150x170mm Graduated ND (GND) Filters
These filters are essential for balancing exposure in scenes with significant differences in brightness between the sky and the foreground. NiSi offers a variety of GND filters with different transition types (soft, hard, and reverse) to suit various shooting scenarios. Like the ND filters, they are constructed from premium optical glass with nano-coating for optimal performance.

The NiSi S6 150mm filter holder represents the next generation of filter holders for wide and super-wide angle lenses. Included in each S6 kit is a choice True Color Polariser.
Continuing the high build quality of the S5, the S6 comes in CNC machined aeronautical grade aluminium and has a host of design and functional improvements such as:
- Redesigned locking wheel for great security and ease of mounting/unmounting.
- Premium grade flocking to absorb stray light and minimise reflection/glare
- Redesigned filter slots and polariser gear wheel
- No light leak, even without the CPL installed
- Silver finish adaptor ring with knurled edges for grip
The externally mounted gear wheel gives you full control over the polariser, even with filters mounted. The S6 takes our 150mm series of ND and GND filters as well as the 150mm Natural Night filter.
