NiSi Graduated Neutral Density Filters (GND) are the indispensable tool for any landscape photographer. Hard-edge filters have a sharper transition between the light and dark parts than the Medium and Soft filters. They are the most suitable GND filters in situations with clearly defined light and dark areas, such as seascapes. ND8, 0.9 and 3 stops are different ways to indicate the light absorption value of the filter in question. This size filter is for use on the Canon 11-24.

Construction

All NiSi square use Nano Coating®, this wording indicates the use of the exclusive Nano Coating treatment which makes the filter water-repellent and oleophobic for perfect sharpness. NiSi filters also use IR technology, i.e. the coating that blocks infrared light, and therefore eliminates the risk of magenta colour cast.
