The NiSi S5 filter holder with Landscape Polariser NC is ideal for landscape photographers who want to combine an ultra wide angle lens such as the Sigma 14-24mm with a square filter system that allows you to use a screw-in Landscape polarising filter and GND/ND filters.

The 150mm NiSi S5 filter system is in CNC machined aluminium alloy; the 360° rotating holder allows the use of a screw-in polariser and two 150mm filters with slight vignetting (see images and videos for more details).

This version is for DG HSM Art version, Nikon and Canon mount. If you have the Sony/Leica version it has DG DN HSM Art name. You can find the version for Sony and Leica mount here(no vignetting in that version).

An external ring that allows you to rotate the CPL polariser from the outside even with mounted filters. This unique feature of the NiSi S5 allows you to adjust the polariser with extreme precision using the external wheel, and therefore it is much more comfortable than using the 150mm square polariser of the other types of 150mm holders. In addition, the Landscape polariser is included in the package along with the bag.

The Landscape NC polarizer, is NiSi’s Enhanced® CPL, with a maximum polarization of 99.9%* that emphasizes the natural colours of the scene. It also features Nano® Coating (NC) treatment that protects it and makes it completely water-repellent for easy cleaning. NiSi S5 Holder for Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG HSM Art (Nikon and Canon mount) includes the Landscape polariser in this kit, thanks to the panted design you can rotate the filter even with 2 square filters installed and remove it if necessary.

Attention: Given the particular shape of the Sigma 14-24 f / 2.8 DG HSM, there is a slight vignetting at 14mm, which reduces until it disappears at 16mm. Applying lens correction reduces the effect. You can find an example of the effect in the video below and in the image gallery.

* The maximum polarisation changes from scene to scene depending on the incidence of light (position of the sun) and the framed material. In fact, the polariser has an effect only on the polarised light of non-metallic surfaces. The NiSi Landscape Enhanced® polariser, in suitable situations, reaches 99.9% polarisation.
