UV filter HT HUC MC (High Transmission)
The NiSi UV filter, as with all other products, is built with the highest quality lens grade optical glass. For all sizes, we offer exclusively the highest transparency glass HT (or HUC, High-ultra Clarity), the best on the market, exclusive to NiSi. The absorption of UV light, which can cause a bluish cast on daytime photos and videos, is ensured by a special absorbent treatment that reduces UV light by almost 100% below 365 nanometers in wavelength.
HUC high transmission glass has a 99.2% visible light transmission, while the brass structure is obtained from a single block and machined with numerical control machines.
