NiSi Athena Prime 50mm T1.9
The 50mm in the Athena Prime series is the family’s “normal” cinema lens: T1.9, a 46mm image circle covering full frame and soft bokeh to separate the subject from the background.
Why choose the 50mm
- T1.9 down to T22
- 10 iris blades
- 0.5 m minimum focus
- 300° focus rotation
No visible focus breathing
From minimum distance to infinity the framing stays the same: you pull focus while shooting and the field of view doesn’t “breathe”.
T1.9 and 10 blades
Bright in low light, with soft bokeh. High micro-contrast and chromatic aberration kept to a minimum, even wide open.
Designed to work as a set
From 14 to 85mm, the same front diameter, 77mm thread and gears in the same position: swap lenses without rebalancing the gimbal.
300° focus ring
Fluorescent scales for precise focus pulls, even in the dark.

Frequently asked questions
Which drop-in filters are included?
The E, RF and L versions come with the clear drop-in filter only. Drop-in NDs and polarisers are sold separately; for the PL mount there are rear filters.
Can I use it with other Athena lenses in the same set-up?
Yes. From 14 to 85mm, weights, dimensions, thread and gear positions match. The 50mm is also in the Prime Kit and the Master Kit.
Can I change mount in the future?
The PL version adapts to other mounts with the Athena and Aureus PL mount adapters (E, RF, L, DJI DX, GFX, Z, XCD).
