NiSi Athena Prime 18mm T2.2
The 18mm in the Athena Prime series: a T2.2 wide angle with a 46mm image circle covering full frame and a 77mm front thread.
Why choose the 18mm
- T2.2 maximum aperture
- 10 iris blades
- 77mm front thread
- 300° focus rotation
No visible focus breathing
From minimum distance to infinity the framing stays the same: you pull focus while shooting and the field of view doesn’t “breathe”.
T2.2 and 10 blades
Bright in low light, with soft bokeh. High micro-contrast and chromatic aberration kept to a minimum, even wide open.
Designed to work as a set
80mm front diameter, 77mm thread and gears in the same position as the other Athena lenses: swap lenses without rebalancing the gimbal.
300° focus ring
Fluorescent scales for precise focus pulls, even in the dark.

Frequently asked questions
Which drop-in filters are included?
The E, RF and L versions come with the clear drop-in filter only. Drop-in NDs and polarisers are sold separately; for the PL mount there are rear filters.
Can I use it with other Athena lenses in the same set-up?
Yes. Weights, dimensions and gear positions match across the whole series. The 18mm is also in the Add-On Kit and the Master Kit.
Can I change mount in the future?
The PL version adapts to other mounts with the Athena and Aureus PL mount adapters (E, RF, L, DJI DX, GFX, Z, XCD).
