Cine filters
NiSi Cinema variable NDs
The variable filter for adjusting exposure while you shoot, from 1 to 5 stops, without changing filters: by the gear or with a lens motor.
Variable NDs in brief
- 1–5 stops, adjustable while shooting
- 6 o 12mm thick: one or two matte box slots
- C5 a version made for the NiSi matte box
- No X no “X effect” at maximum density
Two paired polarisers: you adjust the light in real time. The 4×5.65″ also works without a matte box.

1 to 5 stops, 6mm (one slot) or 12mm (two slots) thick.
For the C5 matte box
Made for the C5: other variable NDs don’t fit.
Circular Enhance
ND-VARIO from 1.5 to 5 stops.
- A variable ND is made of polarisers: for the most even result across the whole frame, a fixed ND is still better.
