Shipping Terms
All NiSi products purchased through the NiSi UK eCommerce portal (this site, www.nisioptics.co.uk) are shipped via James & James Fulfilment UK warehouse and shipped with a tracking code. As soon as the order is shipped, the tracking code will be sent via email to the email address provided at the time of purchase to enable you to check the delivery status of your order at any time.
Shipments are free for orders over £60. All orders are shipped from UK.
Shipping Times
Orders with immediate product availability will be processed within 48 hours (excluding holidays and weekends) from when the funds are cleared on our account (PayPal eChecks and Bank Transfers might take up to 5-7 working days, any other form of electronic payment is recommended as the funds are cleared on the spot). These are the handling time criteria:
- For in stock orders placed on weekdays and excluding holidays, before 1:00 PM the shipment usually leave the same day, this is not guaranteed in peak season and close to bank holidays.
- For in stock orders placed after 1pm on weekdays and excluding holidays, processing will happen on the next working day or within 48 hours.
- For in stock orders placed on weekends or during holidays, the order will be processed and shipped on the next working day or within 2 working days during peak season.
Delivery times may vary according to destination and service chosen but every endeavour will be made to ensure your order is with you between 1 and 4 working days (unless strikes are announced by the company).
Royal Mail Tracked
This service indicates a 2-4 days shipping service, it’s usually Royal Mail but it could be equivalent if needed.
Priority Express
This service aims to deliver in the next 24-48 hours after shipping, it doesn’t include handling time. Read above handling time criteria.
All shipping timing doesn’t include the time needed to process the order, but only the transit time when the package leaves the warehouse.
NiSi UK undertakes to do everything possible to deliver the products to its buyers in the shortest possible time. NiSi UK guarantees the integrity of the shipment without additional costs: in the event your order arrives damaged or not to your satisfaction, please write to us at info@nisioptics.co.uk attaching photos of the package and the damaged product and we will arrange delivery of a replacement product. Damaged orders will be shipped back to NiSi UK at our expense.
In the event of a dispute for non-delivery, the courier’s proof of delivery is proof of delivery.
Proof of delivery and Signing
Many couriers do not require a mandatory signing of the parcel, and implemented a photographic proof.
Not Signed Tracked 48
This shipping method have not a required signing, Royal Mail provide a photographic proof that is a proof of delivery. For any disputes, read the Delivery disputes paragraph below.
Priority Express
This shipping method have not a require signing, DPD provide a photographic proof that is a proof of delivery. For any disputes, read the Delivery disputes paragraph below.
Delivery disputes
NiSi UK assumes responsibility for the parcel solely up to the point at which it is handed over to the designated courier service, and until a valid proof of delivery is provided by said courier. In the event that the customer disputes the delivery proof, NiSi UK offers complimentary assistance by submitting a DOR (Denial of Receipt) to the courier on behalf of the customer. Please note that courier dispute resolutions may take up to 28 working days. Should the dispute be resolved in the customer’s favour, NiSi UK may assist with the issuance of a replacement order of equivalent value.

Out of Stock items (Backorder) and Special Shipping Requirements
In the case of orders with multiple products, with not all items are available (backorder active), your order will be despatched when all the products are available at our warehouse, with the remainder of your order to ship at a later date when checking out, as shown on the examples below:
Item with backorder active: not available at the warehouse, with simple indicative timeframe of availability, contact us at nisioptics.co.uk for a detailed availability date.



Backorder with one item out of stock
Item will be shipped when available at our warehouse, with the indicative timeframe communicated when contacting us at nisioptics.co.uk
Backorder with one item out of stock and one in stock
Items will be shipped together when the backordered item will be in stock, unless requested by the customer to despatch the available item contacting us at info@nisioptics.co.uk
Final shipping costs are always calculated at checkout accordingly to the total basket, as delivery fees are triggered by the basket’s final amount. Provisional shipping messages are showed on the product page, but this is not related to the final basket amount as the checkout page is the one to consider valid for the total.
