Choose your NiSi V7 filter holder

The NiSi V7 holder offers a new compact design, which allows you to easily manoeuvre the ND filters into the first slot, having mounted others on the second or third. The slots are Teflon-coated for perfect filter sliding, the 82mm ring has been designed for precise insertion of the polariser, with a brand new POINT TO POINT alignment. In the NiSi V7 the clip has been redesigned for better grip, also a new locking system has been added. Our V7 Kit with True Color NC CPL includes a Lens Cap V7*, allowing you to remove the holder system and protect your lens with the polariser attached.

*V7 Lens Cap is not compatible with V6

NiSi Switch

The NiSi Switch® filter holder for 100mm filters allows you to rotate two filters simultaneously and independently from each other. It has been designed for photographers who need Graduated ND (GND) filters positioned at different angles. The NiSi Switch allows 360-degree rotation and also has a locking screw to secure the system in place. The holder does not vignette even at 16mm on Full-Frame.

NiSi V7 Alpha

The NiSi V7 Alpha is a filter holder with 3 slots for 100mm wide and 2mm thick filters. Compared to the V7 with True Color CPL it does not include the polariser and has an 82mm ring (not supporting the polariser). This is the perfect filter holder for those who do not need the polariser and is compatible with all the adapter rings for V7, V6 or V5 Pro. In addition, if necessary as your needs evolve, it is possible to purchase the 82mm main ring and the Landscape polariser, so as to make the V7 Alpha a V7.

Transform the V7 Alpha by adding the V7 82mm main ring (with polariser rotation), the Landscape Polariser or the True Color Polariser.

How does it work? You have to buy the main ring and a polariser, and you will be able to lock the polariser onto the 82mm main ring, which also includes the mechanism to rotate the polariser. You can attach the V7 ALPHA you already own to this ring. If you have some adapter (for other threads) you can always use it to maximise the compatibility to all of your threaded lenses.

Information on the NiSi V7

The 100mm V7 Holder Systems by NiSi is the most advanced filter holder on the market for 2mm thick 100mm square filters. With unprecedented construction quality, this is an evolution of the historic NiSi V5 holder (now discontinued). The NiSi V7 holder allow you to use up to 3 filters along with a circular polarising filter at the same time without vignette. CNC machined and made of aeronautical aluminium, it is coated with a matte black protective coating to minimise unwanted reflections.

Compared to the V6 version, the Holder NiSi V7 implements the following improvements:

• Improved polariser installation/removal
• Simplified insertion of ND and GND square filters with new continuous track guides
• New clip to fix the holder and a lock
• New POINT to POINT alignment for the CPL
• New improved locking system

The kit consists of the holder, 4 adapter rings (67mm, 72mm, 77mm and the main 82mm ring) and a circular polarising filter (the V7 Alpha includes an 82mm ring, does not include the polariser or can be mounted on this ring). With the exclusive mechanical rotation system, you can adjust the degree of polarisation without ever having to remove the filters. Free case for safe transport is included!

You can mount the NiSi V7 holder on most lenses with lens threads of 49mm or higher with an additional purchase of the required rings. Adaptor rings starting from 49mm.

The NiSi V7 True Color NC Polariser Kit also includes the V7 lens cap for storing the lens while keeping the 82mm main ring and the polariser mounted on your lens. This facilitates transportation between locations.

Note: The V7 holder is not directly compatible with the Tokina 11-20 f/2.8 with 82mm front thread or the Panasonic 70-200 f2.8. To make the holders compatible, use the appropriate adaptor ring. Other Tokina lenses are compatible without the need of the ring. The same adapter can also be used on Tokina 17-35 f/4, however vignetting up to about 18mm is likely.
No vignetting is present on the Tokina 11-20 using the additional adaptor ring.
