The continuous search for the best solution for NiSi users leads us to constantly innovate to develop new products in line with the market. The lenses of the “Samyang 14mm” family are varied, and to ensure maximum compatibility we have decided to create a series of specific filter holders for each lens:
- Samyang XP Premium MF 14mm f/2.4
- Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 FE (Sony)
- Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 FE (Nikon/Canon)
- Samyang 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC (Holder compatible with Samyang 10mm f/2.8 ED)
Holder for Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 FE (Sony)
Each lens has its own unique construction features, even between the Sony and Nikon/Canon version of the Samyang AF 14mm f / 2.8 FE. It is also important to note that the Samyang 14mm f / 2.8 IF ED UMC is also compatible with the Samyang 10mm f / 2.8 ED (for APS-C). So, pay attention to the wording to ensure you choose the right holder for your lens. If you are not sure, you can always contact us indicating the model of the camera and the model of the lens (even a clearly visible photo of the lens).
Holder features for the Samyang 14mm family
The NiSi filter holders for the Samyang 14mm family of lenses are made of aeronautical aluminium, like all NiSi holders, and using high precision CNC machines. In both variants there are two slots for inserting 150mm filters, such as 150x150mm ND filters and 150x170mm GND filters. The holder is also compatible with third party 150mm (2mm thick) filters. Vignetting is absent even when using two filters (except with the holder for Samyang 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC where it is slightly present) .
