JetMag Pro - ND-VARIO 1-5 stops (0.3-1.5) True Color Nano-coating

JetMag Pro TRUE COLOR ND-VARIO 1-5stops (0.3-1.5) Nano-coating with Optical Glass

The NiSi JetMag Pro 1–5 Stops True Color Variable ND is the next evolution in professional light control, combining the trusted performance of NiSi’s True Color ND-VARIO Pro Nano technology with the fast and intuitive JetMag Pro magnetic system. Designed for content creators, photographers, and filmmakers who demand precision and efficiency, this variable ND filter offers a flexible exposure reduction from 1 to 5 stops (ND2–ND32), allowing for full creative control in dynamic lighting conditions.

True Color Accuracy with No Compromise

Say goodbye to unwanted color shifts. The True Color technology ensures natural, color-accurate results, maintaining consistent tones throughout your exposure range, perfect for both still photography and video workflows.

Smooth & Precise Light Control

The filter features a fluid density transition that enables seamless adjustments between stops, ideal for fine-tuning shutter speed or aperture to convey motion or control depth of field. The built-in hard stops at 1 and 5 stops prevent over-rotation, while eliminating the dreaded X pattern (cross-polarisation) often seen in lower-quality variable NDs. For easier use in any orientation, the clearly marked stop indicators are placed on both sides of the filter ring, offering quick visibility whether shooting handheld or mounted on a rig. The included detachable silver control lever adds ergonomic precision to your adjustments and can be mounted on either side of the filter, giving you customisable control based on your setup or personal preference.

Built-In Polarisation Control for Creative Flexibility

The NiSi JetMag Pro Variable ND isn’t just about controlling light—it also gives you the ability to manage reflections. Once you’ve set your desired ND strength using the front ring, you can rotate the entire filter to adjust the polarisation angle. This added layer of control is perfect for minimising glare on water, glass, or other reflective surfaces while maintaining your exposure settings—making it an ideal tool for both photographers and filmmakers looking to enhance contrast and saturation naturally, without needing a separate polarising filter.

Built for Durability & Performance

Crafted from high-definition optical glass and coated with NiSi’s Pro Nano Coating, the JetMag Pro Variable ND offers waterproof, oil-resistant, and anti-reflective protection to ensure clarity and reduce flare and ghosting. The aerospace-grade aluminum frame is ultra-lightweight yet rugged—built to withstand the demands of outdoor and on-set hooting.

Ultra-Slim, Zero Vignetting Design

Designed with a low-profile frame, the filter avoids vignetting even on wide-angle lenses as wide as 16mm full-frame, offering full creative flexibility without compromise. Whether you’re capturing motion-blurred cityscapes, silky water, or adjusting exposure for cinematic video, the NiSi JetMag Pro 1–5 Stops Variable ND delivers precision, true-to-life color, and unmatched ease of use—all in a magnetic system built for speed and reliability.

How to minimise vignetting

The JetMag Pro VND True Color 1–5 Stop filter is designed specifically for video use, with the vignetting chart shown below:

Disclaimer: Variable ND (VND) filters are constructed from two optical glass elements that rotate relative to each other. Due to this design, they are not weatherproof or waterproof. The hydrophobic (water-repellent) coating is applied only to the front and rear glass surfaces to help repel water, fingerprints, and dirt, making the filter easier to clean. It does not seal the filter against water or moisture ingress.
