Adele is a seascape photographer based on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides where the wild Atlantic and ever changing coast line shape her work, often heading out in challenging conditions she is drawn to storms, shifting light, long exposure and the raw energy of the sea.
Her work reflects a deep connection to the island capturing moments that feel both powerful and fleeting, telling the story of the coastline and the remarkable beauty of the island. As a passionate advocate for women in her field, Adele co-founded the Women in Seascape Photography community, creating a supportive & interactive space for female photographers.
Adele was honoured to have been awarded first place in the sea & coast Category of the Scottish Nature Photography Awards with "Where Winter Lands" and highly commended in the Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year with "Hear me Roar"
Adele also runs a local gallery showcasing her latest work, welcoming visitors to experience the dramatic landscapes she captures. In addition, she offers tuition and small group workshops, providing aspiring photographers with hands-on guidance and insights into her creative process.
