NC UV Filter II with 49mm Front Thread for Fujifilm X100 Series

Every X100 uses the same fixed 23mm f/2 lens, and this filter is precision-made to fit it. Take off the original ring and screw the filter in its place: the camera keeps the clean, compact profile that makes the X100 so easy to carry everywhere, and there is no need to take the filter off before putting the camera in your bag.

A 49mm front thread that grows with you

The big news in this version is the 49mm thread built into the front of the frame. Any standard 49mm filter screws straight on, so you can use a circular polariser, an ND or a Black Mist with no adapters, step-up rings or extra bulk on the front of a compact camera.

Macro friendly design

Designed from precise measurements, the frame leaves the lens barrel room to extend when you focus close for macro shots. The lens moves freely, with no mechanical interference, and keeps 100% of its native close-focus ability.

Nano coating on both sides, 99.3% transmission

Both surfaces of the optical glass carry a multi-layer anti-reflective nano coating that transmits 99.3% of the incoming light. Reflections between filter and lens are kept down, so flare and ghosting stay under control against street lights, shop windows or a low sun, and colours stay neutral and easy to work with.

Everyday protection for a lens you can’t swap

The X100 lens is fixed, so damage to the front element can’t be solved by changing lens. This filter protects it from scratches, dust, sand and splashes, and replacing a filter costs a fraction of a lens repair.

Oil and water resistant coating

The outer surface is hydrophobic and oleophobic: raindrops roll off instead of drying into marks, and fingerprints, sun cream and salt spray come off with one wipe of a microfibre cloth.

Works with the original lens cap

The original Fujifilm X100 lens cap fits straight over the filter, so you don’t need a different cap or leave the front of the camera exposed between shots.
