Aureus Prime Tool AP-T01 for Cinema Lenses

The NiSi Aureus Prime Tool AP-T01 is made specifically for Aureus Prime cinema lenses. It removes and tightens the reflective flat ring on the front of the lens, so cleaning, inspection and minor servicing take a few minutes and put the optics at no risk.

Made for the Aureus front ring

The flat front ring of an Aureus lens only comes off safely with the right tool: by hand or with pliers you risk scratching it or forcing the thread. The AP-T01 is cut to the exact size of the ring, sits flat on it and turns it smoothly in both directions.

Machined aluminium, deep knurling

The body is precision-machined aluminium: it stays stable on the lens and does not flex as you turn it. The deep knurling on the outside gives a confident grip with cold hands or gloves, so you control the movement right to the last degree.

Soft interior, the lens stays like new

The inner surface that touches the lens is soft, so the tool rests on the barrel without marking the finish or scratching it. That matters when you service a lens set that has to stay perfect for years.

On set and in the workshop

Whether you own a single Aureus or the full 18 to 85mm set, the AP-T01 lives in the case with the lenses: out for a clean before the shoot, a check after a dusty day, or prepping the glass for a rental.
