NiSi presents the 150mm filter holder: The NiSi S5. This holder is a new concept of filter holder as it is modular and with a circular polariser included. Modularity allows you to use the same holder with many new adapters, one for each lens. If you have wide-angle lens without a thread you can use the S5 to mount ND and GND filters, and in addition you will have a thread on the main adapter where you can screw in the circular polariser (and other special NiSi filters) so that you no longer have to do without them!
Main features of the NiSi S5
The NiSi S5 differs from all other brand holders on the market thanks to a series of particular characteristics that make it unique:
- Very high build quality in CNC machined aeronautical aluminium
- Modular holder formed by adapter ring plus filter holder, which allows you to reuse the holder on multiple lenses
- Circular slot with rotation mechanism, allowing you to fit the circular polariser and rotate it independently from the other two slots
- Two other slots for filters 150mm wide and 2mm thick.
- A total of 3 slots allows you to use a polarising filter together with an ND filter and a GND filter to have maximum control over your shots
- In most lenses (check the product sheet) no vignetting even at ultra wide-angle focal lengths
