NiSi Allure 1/8 Stop Black Mist Filter – 4×5.65″

The NiSi Allure Black Mist Cinema filter allows you to soften highlights and creates hazy lifted shadows for atmospheric shots. Allure Mist Cinema filters reduce the contrast that can lead to excessive sharpness from modern cinema, DSLR and mirrorless camera lenses.

The soft, mist effect in varying densities of 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and 1 stop help to disperse brighter highlights to create a flaring effect from harsh light sources. The black mist filter creates that special “atmosphere” by softening excess sharpness and contrast.

The NiSi 4×5.65″ product line is compatible with all leading video matte boxes. The cinema filters from NiSi are the industry standard 4mm thick. A synthetic leather effect storage pouch is included and cinema pouches for your filter collection are available for separate purchase.

 

 

Cine Sealing technology

NiSi Allure Mist White and Black series use Cine Sealed technology, edges of the filter are sealed with black resin to improve performance and durability. This technology reduces the influence of temperature fluctuations, keeps out condensation and protects the filter from unwanted flare and reflections. Compared to similar treatments, NiSi’s technology allows the edge of the filter to be sealed twice as efficiently, thanks to high-precision machinery and unique materials.
