NiSi JetMag Pro – Coloured Filters for Black & White – Yellow, Orange and Red
The NiSi JetMag Pro Yellow, Orange and Red filters are designed for photographers who want to get the very best from black and white photography by controlling contrast and tonal rendition directly at the moment of capture. Available in Yellow, Orange and Red versions, these filters allow you to emphasise the sky, increase separation between subject and background, and create monochrome images with a distinctive, professional character.
Yellow Monochrome Filter
The Yellow filter is the most versatile and natural-looking choice for black and white photography. It slightly increases contrast, moderately darkens blue skies, and improves cloud separation while maintaining a balanced and realistic rendering. It is ideal for landscapes, urban photography, and everyday use.
Orange Monochrome Filter
The Orange filter produces a stronger effect than yellow, increasing overall contrast and darkening the sky more noticeably. Clouds stand out more prominently, while architectural elements gain greater definition and visual impact. It is particularly appreciated for black and white landscape and architectural photography.
Red Monochrome Filter
The Red filter delivers the strongest effect in the range. It dramatically darkens blue skies, creating striking contrast with white clouds and giving images a bold, dramatic appearance. It is perfect for high-impact landscapes, creative photography, and scenes where maximum tonal contrast is desired.
Like all products in the JetMag Pro range, the Monochrome filters also use NiSi’s innovative magnetic system, allowing for quick and secure installation. Thanks to the exclusive JetMag Pro locking mechanism, the filters remain firmly in place during use and transport, offering maximum reliability even in demanding conditions.
At present, the Yellow, Orange and Red Monochrome filters are available exclusively in the 49mm magnetic version, designed for use with the JetMag Pro system. Additional sizes will be introduced progressively in the future to meet the needs of a growing number of photographers and lenses.
As these filters feature a magnetic mount rather than a threaded one, they cannot be used on their own. They must be paired with another JetMag Pro filter already mounted on the lens, or used with the JetMag Pro adapter ring, which is included in JetMag Pro kits or available separately as an accessory.
For optimal protection during transport, we also recommend using the JetMag Pro front and rear lens caps, specifically designed for the NiSi magnetic system.
The JetMag Pro Monochrome filters are fully compatible with the other filters in the JetMag Pro range, including JetMag Pro FS ND, JetMag Pro True Color CPL, JetMag Pro Black Mist, JetMag Pro Night and JetMag Pro UV, offering maximum flexibility when building your ideal photographic setup. They are also compatible with the JetMag Pro rear cap.
