NiSi 2 ND Filters “Base” Kit

The “Basic” NiSi ND Filter Kit includes two 100x100mm square ND filters: ND8 3 Stop and ND64 6 Stop.

Both NiSi filters in this complete kit are made of lens grade optical glass, exclusive to NiSi. In addition, all products have an incredibly high colour match, no loss of sharpness and the best coatings on the market.

In addition to the anti-glare treatment, there are also the Nano-Coating treatments to make cleaning the filters quick and easy. The exclusive IR coating blocks infrared light, which is the cause of dominant magenta colour in filters that do not have this unique NiSi feature. Thanks to the ND NiSi filters you can focus on the most beautiful part of landscape photography: the experience out in the field and the satisfaction of obtaining a spectacular result in camera.

The NiSi “Basic” ND Kit already contains everything needed to use 100mm square ND filters on 100mm wide and 2mm thick filter holder (filter holder not included). They can be used on Lee, Haida or other manufacturers filter holders; obviously using the incredible Holder NiSi V6 you will also have the versatility of 3 slots without vignetting (+ polariser) at 16mm on full-frame (10-11mm on APS-C) and the possibility to use the famous Landscape Polariser.

The NiSi “Base” ND Filter Kit also contains several accessories included in the price:

• 1 x Soft filter case for up to 4 ND filters (100×100 ND or 100×150 GND)

• 4 x Replacement gaskets to block light leaking (remember to insert the filters so that the shorter part of the gasket faces the sides, so that the slot track can slide freely without colliding with the gasket)

Construction

All NiSi square use Nano Coating®, this wording indicates the use of the exclusive Nano Coating treatment which makes the filter water-repellent and oleophobic for perfect sharpness. NiSi filters also use IR technology, i.e. the coating that blocks infrared light, and therefore eliminates the risk of magenta colour cast.

The Nano® Coating treatment gives the filter the quality of repelling water and oils, making cleaning very easy even in extreme conditions or with the presence of seawater. The finishing of the edges and the rounded corners improve the resistance of the filter and the grip.
