NiSi S6 150mm filter holder for Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S
The NiSi S6 150mm filter holder for the Nikkor Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S represents the next generation of filter holders for wide and super-wide angle lenses. The NiSi S6 holder, like its predecessor, is a superb tool for landscape photographers who want to use ND, GND and polarising filters on their lenses. The S6 system for the Nikkor Z 14-24mm f/2.8 S combines a custom designed adaptor that houses the redesigned polariser and the filter plate for two 150mmm (2mm thick) filters.
The NiSi S6 comes in CNC machined aeronautical grade aluminium and has plenty of design and functions such as:
- Locking wheel for great security and ease of mounting/unmounting.
- Premium grade flocking to absorb stray light and minimise reflection/glare
- 2 smooth filter slots and polariser gear wheel
- No light leak, even without the CPL installed
- Silver finish adaptor ring with knurled edges for grip
The kit comes complete with everything you will need including improved filter pouch and lens cap allowing you to leave the polariser mounted and protected when changing location
The externally mounted gear wheel gives you full control over the polariser, even with filters mounted. The S6 takes our 150mm series of ND and GND filters as well as the 150mm Natural Night filter.

After moving up to full frame camerasvand having a sharp trio of pro lenses it was time to scrap my scored 85mm resin filters to 150mm glass filters after realising my older brand glass kit was out of my reach £1400 , i decided id get the nisi polariser and s6 holder with a 9 and 5 stop set of nds , then i would be half way there at least, the following week i completed my set with 2 150mmx170mm gnd filters a 3 and a five stop would be plenty for what i wanted , slowing watr down beefing the sky up and putting detail back into water where reflections hide the detail well, i use fast pro glass with flourine elements , i was worried about stacking on such sharp lenses especially the nikon 24-70 f2.8 vr ii , which is tack sharp , i used the polarized an nd5 And a 5 syop gnd , im made up the viewfinder shows these lenses awesomely sharp ,also the 70-200 fl ed vr , and 14-24 2.8 absolutely great , totally made up the results when with 3 filters filtted make a massive difference ,with minor camera menu tweaks, thanks guys im made up , 24 hour delivery is spot on , i totally reccomend the nisi s6 holder for the nikon 14-24, id almost retired the lens
