“Soft” Transition

Soft filters feature an intermediate transition between the clear and dark areas; less defined than Hard filters and more pronounced than Soft filters. They are essential GND filters in any photographer’s kit and work very well on their own when the light transition line is not too sharp. The 3-stop is an excellent starting point. The design with a “narrower” graduation ensures versatile use across a wide range of scenarios, from mountains, cliffs and seascapes to city skylines, delivering a soft transitions and precise exposure control.
