Variable ND filters 2 in 49mm

Adjust exposure by rotating the filter, from 1 to 5 stops. Perfect for video.

The perfect filters for videographers, and not only: the best Nano, IR and anti-reflection coatings, exclusive to NiSi, and the flexibility to choose the right density for every scene. The heavy colour shifts of variable NDs have been greatly reduced, and NiSi’s engineers have overcome the “cross” effect (X effect).

Polarising filters 4 in 49mm

Control reflections, saturate the sky and see through water.

They let you control reflections from non-metallic surfaces. Also useful for saturating the sky and making shots of the sea and rivers spectacular, where reflected light would otherwise stop you seeing through the water.

A simulation with two real photos, without a filter and with the True Color polariser. In real life the effect is strongest at 90° to the sun. With a wide angle or a clear sky, the sky darkens in bands: it isn’t a fault of the filter, and it happens more with quality polarisers, which polarise more. Rotate the filter to the best position or, if needed, take it off; with a standard or telephoto lens the effect is more even.

Circular ND filters (Neutral Density) 1 in 49mm

Lengthen your shutter speeds, from 3 to 15 stops: silky water.

They let you use longer shutter speeds or wider apertures even in bright light: reduce depth of field, turn water into silk, make people vanish from crowded places. The ND64 + CPL is one of a kind: as well as cutting 6 stops it includes a CPL, which you adjust by rotating the filter.
